Mrs. Arlie Shaffer died on Saturday evening at 4 after a illness. She was buried at Union at 11 on Tuesday morning after funeral services conducted by Rev CL Airhart of Roachdale. She was the daughter of William Miles and leaves one child, a daughter 4 years old. She was a member of the Browns Valley Baptist Church. -- kbz
